ARCHITECTURE AND CIVIL ENGINEERING
The object of the investigations is a building design of a Book Depository of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus. The paper gives mechanical estimation of deforming systems of the Book Depository performance of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus at the stage of its construction and operation. Final-element models of the building are verified, forces in bearing elements of the framework, frequency and forms of natural oscillations are calculated and node displacements are brought out. Building calculation in respect of general stability, pulsating component of wind load has been carried out. Framework performance of the Book Depository has been analyzed with due account of seismic action.
The paper considers problems arising due to action of transport load on cement-concrete pavement. Local soil slump with formation of cavities takes place under longitudinal joints. This actioncauses a plate vibration. In order to reinforce the construction it is proposed to arrange local fixing with cavity filling. Such method makes it possible to ensure additional plate support and due to this to reduce its vertical deformation that is proved by the calculations.
METALLURGY. МЕТАL WORKING. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Complexity of heat transfer processes and insufficient a priori information on metal heating processes in furnaces lead to construction of mathematical models for subsequent optimization of these processes in accordance to this or that quality criterion. In order to determine dynamics of metal and furnace temperature changes it is necessary to measure actual values model coefficients.
A method of modeling gears of bevel-cylindrical precessional gearing using computing equipment is proposed. Computerized «through-designing» approach is applied for designing and engineering of bevel-cylindrical precessional gearing. The approach is based on development of solid models and usage of calculation means in order to substantiate the accepted solutions. The paper shows insufficiency of the applied calculation means and methods for structurally complicated items in order to provide them the required efficiency in subsequent operation. A computer model for gear profile of bevel-cylindrical precessional gearing has been developed.
The paper contains a new methodology to set and optimize parameters of easement curve of involute gear tooth. The methodology is based on the principles of generalized parameter method. Shape of easement curve is invariant to tool parameters. Easement curve described by elliptical equation is investigated. The methodology is recommended for optimization of gearing design with improved parameters.
Hardness and fracture toughness of structural ceramics of^i3N4 - (A1203 + Y203) - TiN system depending on composition and applied load have been studied. Mathematical models establishing quantitative relations between these characteristics, material brand, TiN content, oxides and load have been developed.
Statistical investigations of the mentioned materials have made it possible not only to determine quantitative dependences of hardness and К on load and composition but to reveal character of their impact, to establish relation between hardness and crack resistance in the form of correlationINSTRUMENT ENGINEERING. INFORMATICS
The Belarussian National Technical University is taken as an example to study a role of scientific and information activity in order to organize innovation and aspects of its informative support, problems of informative and marketing activity (publications, advertising and publishing activity, work with mass communication means) and aspects of international marketing innovations in electronic and conventional formats.
Automation control systems with polynomial dynamics description are considered in the paper. Characteristic equation coefficients of these systems are changeable in infinite intervals of actual values. A root portrait concept of an interval control system has been introduced. Root portraits have been used to investigate dynamics of interval automation control systems described by characteristic equations of the third power. Some regularities in change of system behavior and characteristics due to application of various parameters have been observed. These regularities may be applied for development of synthesis and analysis methods on automation control systems by various technical objects.
Types of apparatus functions with modified notion of an apparatus function are considered in the paper.
Analysis of infantile death- and illness-rate testifies that the majority of pathological cases are formed rather long prior to child’s birth and they are mainly interconnected with a mother’s illness. In order to measure the level of uterus cervix softening with measuring its mechanical impedance authors of the paper propose a device that consists of control probe, measuring block, automated system for tracing measurement methodology, calculation of the obtained results and block of data recording.
TRANSPORT
Fuel systems of diesel engines have been analyzed. The paper shows components of the systems, peculiarities of their manufacturing process. Difference in efficiency of the systems, their application and market prospects are considered in the paper. While solving problems to design a power installation the essence of fuel system selection is given on the basis of an internal combustion engine.
A new method for diagnostics of mechanical transmissions of mobile machinery is proposed in the paper. The method presupposes an application of computing equipment and its purpose is to decrease labor-consumption of diagnostics procedure and increase diagnostics efficiency.
The method is based on comparison of duration of impulse periods picked up at primary transducers which are installed at transmission input and output. A signal picked up at a flywheel ring gear is taken as a reference signal.
While selecting clearances of one and then the direction in speed-up - braking transmission regime changes in number of reference impulses at output provide data on angular clearance value in every gearing. As data are supplied registration and processing of results and forecasting of residual resource are to be done with the help of a program on the basis of realized algorithms for every gearing.
Efficiency of enterprise activity is determined by comparison of the obtained data and the expended resources (financial, tangible, labour). At the same time successful enterprise activity mainly depends on efficiency of manpower utilization. While developing a theory of human capital workers of enterprises are considered as their capital. These statements propose certain requirements to optimization of manpower. The main purpose of optimization is not simply quantitative change in manpower or its structure but determination of efficiency rate which is obtained by an employer as a result of rational utilization of enterprise personnel and measure of losses due to non-rational utilization.
A mathematical model and methodology for calculation turning of crawler tractor with deforming caterpillar while moving along deformable basis at kinematic steering manner have been developed. Motion rates of caterpillars relatively to a tractor body ensure control action. Reliability of calculative results is proved experimentally. The proposed methodology can be used for selection of running gear parameters and turning mechanism of a crawler tractor at a design stage by a turning criterion.
ЕСOLOGY. RESOURCE SAVING
The paper substantiates necessity to develop a unified system of socio-ecological knowledge. Ecosophy being a forming component of dialectic-materialistic philosophy has been proposed as such system. Structure, development laws and functioning of eco-social system are considered as a part of ecosophy theory. Standard laws and ecological principles being widely recognized by ecologically orientated theorists are stated in the paper.
POWER ENGINEERING
The paper considers loss of stability in preliminary isolated power-and-heat supply pipes due to axial thrust and twisting moment.
NATURAL AND ACCURATE SCIENCES
The paper using empirical data reveals that nuclei of some Galaxies and quasars contain super compact physical objects of ~7∙10-бm size and average density ~1.5-1054 kg/m3 that are composed of super-massive atoms. The nuclei of these atoms have super-nucleons of 1,9∙10-3 kg mass and atom shell contains super-electrons of 35.5 TeV/s2 (6,32∙10-23 kg). Size of such atom is equal to ~1,1∙10-22 m, energy of super-electron linkage in it is 1.2224 TeV. Power of quasar luminous emittance in TeV-range of energies is explained by the quantum transition of super-electrons into the main state. At the same time a calculated value of threshold emittance energy level (0.917 TeV) corresponds to the results of physical measurements of the threshold energy level (0.9 TeV).
Problems concerning determination of angular velocity and accelerations of a human being are considered in the paper. These characteristics are determined according to cine-grams modeled by 11 - element anthropomorphous mechanism with absolutely solid elements. The paper gives dependences of experimentally measured angles on time and calculated dependences of angular velocities and accelerations on time.
HUMANITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC SCIENCES
Nowadays a number of countries are facing problems of introduction of informative technologies (IT) in the life of people. These problems are not only of technical nature but they are also philosophical. While creating qualitatively new social formation that is an informative society there are some difficulties in human adaptation and positive perception of state-of-the-art electronic innovations. There is also necessity to have a normative and legislative mechanism to regulate communicative aspects. The important role in realization of the ideas is played by the State.
The paper contains a short review of scientific insights about the essence of graphical symbols in the period of occult insight domination in science. It is shown that all the works of this period in respect of the investigated problem belong to the following three directions - religious, alchemical and nature-philosophical. Analysis of these works proves that rather high level of knowledge about esoteric of graphical symbols was achieved at that time.
The paper considers main principles of State policy for competition development, improvement of product quality and efficiency of construction industry.
