Abstract

The paper considers problems of bridge construction longevity that are connected with unfavorable ecological conditions: high content of S02, C02, NaCl, KC1 and other substances in air and water media; vibrations caused by automobile transport and pedestrians; synergism of these and other factors. The paper proposes the methods for increase of bridge longevity. A universal method in secondary protection of bridge constructions has been developed and it presupposes application of bitumen and oligomer material.

Abstract

The paper reveals that it is necessary to continue to use Gauss-Krueger cartographic projection for reduction of special geodetic networks on the plane that are intended for plan control of topographic surveys and execution of engineering and geodetic works on the territory of large cities. In this way there is no practical necessity in rigid geometric constraints between local and state geodetic networks with the purpose to exclude unjustified deformations of local geodetic networks ensuring urban construction or geodetic monitoring of earth surface deformations within the tasks of applied geomechanics.

Abstract

The paper raises an actual problem concerning improvement of “Mine Surveying” speciality with the purpose to train mining surveyor-engineers who will be capable to solve a great n'umber of mining surveyor problems during underground construction. The paper contains a justification of “Mine Surveying Works in the Process of Underground Construction” Course and its didactic principles. A list of knowledge and skills of the considered Course is given in the paper.

Abstract

The analysis of experimental results has permitted to ascertain dependence of roll forces and heritable variations in thickness of strips on thickness variations and deviations from nominal temperature of an initial feed. A mathematical model of rolling process that makes it possible to predict its accuracy and its dependence on accuracy of technological parameters has been developed.

Abstract

Peculiarities of atmospheric corrosion processes at high content of chloride have been investigated while creating film-forming inhibited oil compound. Composition of the film-forming inhibited oil compound has been developed. Unlike the corrosion-preventive compounds used presently filmforming inhibited oil compound does not require heating and after being applied on the surface to be protected and evaporation of solvent the compound forms highly-efficient protective coating.

Abstract

An influence of ultrasound vibrations initiated in a tool on decrease of cutting forces in the process of abrasive machining of jewel specimens has been investigated. The paper contains description of an pilot unit, a tool design and methodology of investigations. Mechanism of contact interaction due to ultrasound vibrations is described in the paper. Quantitative evaluation of decrease in cutting forces acting in the finishing zone and influence of acoustic and technological factors on the rate of decrease in these forces are given and determined in the paper.

Abstract

A primary ЯМР-transducer of spectrometer has been developed on the basis of crossed Bloch coils for qualitative and quantitative analysis of proton-containing liquids in technological processes. The transducer is designed using magnetic system of armor type. The proposed device has been tested in laboratory conditions and ЯМР-signal has been obtained from water and diesel fuel.

Abstract

The paper considers an application of a root-locus method for synthesis of dynamic systems with uncertainty that meet the requirements of pre-set quality. This method is used for parametric synthesis of automatic control system of industrial robot manipulator that is used for transportation of engineering products. The synthesis takes place under conditions of substantial changes in inertia moment of robot load. As a result of investigations it is possible to determine range of values of variable parameter that ensures the required quality of control system operation. A system of computer programs has been developed in order to solve the problem.

Abstract

The paper contains a brief substantiation in favor of the development of bus manufacturing in the Republic of Belarus. Reduction of import ratio in MAZ-bus cost is shown in the paper. Indices of bus production volume by CIS countries are given in the paper. The paper cites the basic directions in respect of stable operation of automative enterprises being busy with passenger transportation. Results of Belarussian Science Research Transport Institute («Transtekhnika») activity directed on ensuring qualitative servicing, maintenance and repair of MAZ buses are considered in the paper.

Abstract

Designing of systems ensuring active safety of automobiles with intellectual functions requires usage of new control principles for wheel and automobile operation. One of such principles is a preextreme control strategy. Its aim is to ensure wheel work in pre-extreme, stable area of «tire grip coefficient wheel slip coefficient» dependence. The simplest realization of pre-extreme control in automotive anti-lock brake systems consists in the threshold and gradient algorithms. A comparative analysis of these algorithms which has been made on simulation results of bus braking with various anti-lock brake systems has revealed their high efficiency.

Abstract

Calculative methodology for determination of such train road loading scheme that ensures nonexcess of permissible axial weights at any load weight up to maximum one. Computer program permitting to optimize loading scheme of train road consisting of two-axial truck tractor and threeaxial semi-trailer with a pneumatic suspension. Load is laid in pieces on pallets. The scheme provides for usage of three-standard size pallets. Scale scheme of load location on the semi-trailer platform and calculative values of axial weights are results of the program operation.
