Abstract

The paper considers some problems of soil mechanics that have been solved while designing foundation plate of a book depository of National Library of the Republic of Belarus.

Abstract

The paper reveals new approaches to the solution of the problem concerning restructurization and planning reorganization of industrial zones in the cities of the Republic of Belarus due to social and economical changes that are taking place during the last ten years. The results are based on the research of historical processes on industrial area formation in Belarussian cities and general rules of urban planning development.

Abstract

The level of accessibility within buildings and urban environments is a manifestation of society’s awareness and acceptance of the needs of people with disabilities. Persons with visual impairment can not only rely on their eye-sight in the case of knowing their whereabouts and reading the information concerned. Architectural and landscape references, road signs, maps and diagrams, color and tactile references may serve as main informative indicators.

Abstract

The paper presents the method that makes it possible to calculate fire resistance of bending reinforcement constructions in the case when concrete and reinforcement classes are unknown. The method is recommended to substantiate a conclusion in field of fire safety made by experts of the State Fire Supervision Committee.

Abstract

The chemical interesterification reactor is the first one in two-reactor group to obtain polymer by a periodic way. It requires large consumption of thermal energy due to the fact that some heat alongwith volotile components formed as a result of chemical reactions are carried over. Steam supplied to a jacket is heating the reactor. In order to decrease thermal consumption for execution of the process optimal temperature programs minimizing mean temperature for heating a liquid reaction mass have been preliminary calculated. The realization of these programs is considered in the paper. A cascade automation control system for sustaining pre-set temperature variations in every temporary segments has been developed with the purpose to solve the above problem.

Abstract

The problem of flowing around single particles of spherical and arbitrary forms in constrained conditions is considered. Relationship for computation of the granulated media fluidization process by upward water flow has been received and compared with experimental data. Deviation between calculated and experimental values is no more than 5 %.

INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING. INFORMATICS

Abstract

The paper substantiates necessity to use working verifying schemes for realization of verifying process of measuring tools. The paper gives the methodology of synthesis and analysis of working verifying schemes

TRANSPORT

Abstract

The paper shows main principles of a method for modeling dynamic loading of vehicle transmission units. The method essence is to take into account kinematics interaction of gears. Modeling results using transmission of an urban MAZ-101 bus as an example are given in the paper.

Abstract

The developed methodology allows to optimize solutions for organization of road traffic and accept more safe ones. This methodology also permits to evaluate existing variants of road traffic and other pnes that are in a design stage or reconstruction.

Abstract

It is expedient to use mathematical models for substantiation of operational material consumption at maintenance of complicated technical systems. The appropriate tasks have been considered: minimization of operational material consumption; determination of maximum scope of work to be executed while maintaining one system; optimization of operational material consumption while organizing maintenance of a system group; planning of technical maintenance and determination of a number of systems to be maintained. Formalization and solution of the above problems have been accomplished.

Abstract

The main principles for drawing hydraulic drive diagrams have been studied and formulated on the basis of investigations executed by a number of organizations. The paper considers methods of control hydroblock installation that are presently applied in practice. These blocks have been analyzed and their advantages and disadvantages have been evaluated and estimated.

Abstract

The paper describes a pilot unit for investigation of small-size diesel engines operation. This engine operational process has been investigated with the help of a piezoelectric indicator. The developed pilot unit allows to reveal the ways for improvement of technical and economical indices of the parameters of the diesel engines to be investigated.

POWER ENGINEERING

Abstract

The paper contains a model for calcination of calcite with varying thermal and physical parameters and internal source. The paper analyzes a model of thermal CaC03 dissociation.

NATURAL AND ACCURATE SCIENCES

Abstract

Geometrization of Newton binomials and polynomials has led to a new interpretation of Pythagorean theorem in n -dimensional space (adopted definition of this theorem in n -dimensional space is only square of n-linear form).

Abstract

The paper reveals not only realization of the principle of mathematical education continuity but it also gives efficient possibility to demonstrate students significance of mathematics knowledge for civil-engineering specialities.

HUMANITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC SCIENCES

63-65 308
Abstract

The paper proposes a model that presupposes granting more favorable payment (discount) conditions with the purpose to expedite payments for products. Dependence for calculation of discount rate has been deduced on the basis of information about an actual cost of debtor’s accounts receivable. The example of discount calculation depending on a maturity of debtor’s accounts receivable is given in the paper.

Abstract

The p: per considers principles of tariff establishment in transport under conditions of unstable market relations. Methodology for tariff regulation in transport and methods for establishment of state tariff systems are proposed in the paper.

Abstract

The paper contains theoretical generalization of sociological‘research at the Minsk Bearing Plant. In this connection" the paper reveals key orientations of workers in simultaneous improvement of macroeconomic model and organization and economic structure of opep joint-stock company that exist in Belarus. In accordance with the exposed mental predisposition of primary production participants it is possible to outline new managing parties of democratic type: state and people’s joint-stock enterprise and state and people’s joint venture.

Abstract

Taking Eastern and Western cultural and philosophical traditions as an example the paper analyzes historical- and philosophical and historical- and typological notion of «social and natural reality». Evident tendencies of world globalization pose a problem to work out a strategy for the whole civilization. This strategy should involve in itself all the best that have been created by Eastern and Western cultures.

Abstract

The paper reveals that while using corresponding methods of Lp-estimation an application of proper values of inverse weight matrix Q calculated on the basis of Eigen program is possible only for intersections of one point because in accordance with known Standard subprograms values λ are arranged in decreasing order and while processing geodetic networks it is impossible to distribute their values in networks points.

Abstract

The papęr shows that an application of the generalized least-squares’ method for equalizing base leveling networks looks rather prospective. A modem approach is used to equalize zero-free networks. It presupposes that elevation differences between points are taken as measured values but not elevations. Taking into account the results of equalizing several leveling cycles for a base network it is possible to estimate bench mark stability and forecast settling.
