Abstract

The method for calculation of circle, epi- and hypocycloid length makes it possible to obtain values of smoothing-down ability of disk working elements with rotary and planetary motion. Calculation of smoothing-down ability of a planetary working element is made at various values of geometrical criteria. Comparison of smoothing-down ability of planetary and normal disk working elements has been executed. The paper contains comparison of smoothing-down ability of planetary working elements at internal and external testing.

Abstract

The paper considers a new technical solution of strengthening the existing assembly span structures made of T-beams with diaphragms with the help of lateral compression device. The peculiar feature of the solution consists in fixing the stressed elements for lateral compression not only in the place of edge beam ribs but also in the place of intermediate beam ribs. Due to this an effect of discrete bond between steel and concrete is ensured and it permits significantly to reduce tension force and increase efficiency of lateral compression for strengthening span structures. Technical and economical effect is achieved in the way when braces are located at the level of the bottom part of diaphragm section core that excludes emergence of tension stresses in the top part of diaphragm joints and ensures appearance of sufficient compressive stresses in the bottom part of diaphragm joints compensating tension against passing loads and this increases reliability of a span structure.

Abstract

The paper shows necessity to conduct geodetic observations of spatial stability of the multi-storied book depository of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus. The basic geodetic data on its settling and heeling in the process of its construction and striking of centres are given in the paper. An accuracy and methodology of geodetic monitoring of the general stability of the unique library building during its exploitation find their justification in the paper.

Abstract

Powder rolling conditions are systematized with the purpose of their compacting and milling. The generalized  condition of solid and free-flowing bulk material deformation is proposed in the  paper. The analytical solution of a stressed state of powder being shaped mechanically that ensures milling of its particles has been obtained.

Abstract

The paper presents solution of the problem concerning selection of rational parameters of units of terrain copying mechanisms of a grain combine header. A peculiar feature of the proposed solution consists in due account of dynamics concerning combine thresher and header interaction with terrain roughness at various motion speed during harvesting. Using this approach it is possible not only justifiably to calculate geometric dimensions of the units and rigidity of balancing springs of the copying mechanisms but there is also an opportunity to determine optimum speed of combine motion while doing terrain copying and it is possible to make an analysis of grain combine design with the purpose to find the ways for increase of its productivity and improvement of its operational characteristics.

Abstract

The paper contains results of investigation concerning various designs of magnetic systems applied in devices for electromagnetic welding (EMW) of ferropowder on flat surfaces of parts. It is shown that the most effective magnetic system is based on the constant magnets which provides stable and steady process of depositing coatings and increases productivity of EMW process.

Abstract

The paper considers an important theoretical and practical problem concerning determination of conditions that ensure serviceability of clamps tightening butt-joints of a conveyer belt. Regularities of mechanical connection performance have been analyzed and a mathematical model for determination of the mechanical connections has been developed as well.

Abstract

Functional properties of wear resistant combined coatings based on Ti are investigated in the paper. The coatings have been obtained with the help of combined technology that used electro arc evaporation and ionic nitriding methods. Wear resistance of the combined coating is five-fold higher than a standard TiN coating. The high-wear resistance is attributed to a secondary structure, which appears in the friction zone on the surface of the combined coating.

Abstract

Stability of dynamic systems with interval uncertainty is considered in the paper. The system model is developed in the form of the root portrait represented by the family of root loci. System behavior at the stability boundary is investigated and portrait dynamics regularities at this boundary are determined. Conditions are formulated, which allow to determine parameters’ values when system stability is achieved.

Abstract

Method for regulation of wheel tractive forces for providing better surface vehicle steerability has been developed. Results of investigations in respect of realization of the proposed method with an example of regulation of wheel tractive forces of a vehicle having a wheel formula 88 with two forward steering axles and mass-geometrical parameters which are close to the parameters of the MZKT-79091 off-road vehicle while modeling the «lane change» maneuver are given in the paper.

Abstract

The paper considers the ways directed on improvement of drivers’ work efficiency and peculiarities of the executed algorithms of their activity. Several possibilities for the usage of algorithms and hardware-software means with the purpose to control development of emotional excitation of open-cast dump truck drivers are discussed in the paper. Such approach is presented as one of the possible ways intended to increase an efficiency of open-cast dump trucks functioning. It is based on minimization of negative aspects of so called «human factors» during the execution of algorithm activity by a driver.

Some negative points concerning pedestrian-vehicle right transfer for starting movement are revealed in the paper. The paper gives recommendations for elimination of these disadvantages.

Abstract

The paper proposes main criteria for evaluation of economic state security in the field of transport. Methodology for determination of general index of transport service quality has been developed. It is based on single quality indices. Methodology for evaluation of transport component in the product price which permits to determine optimal variants of cargo transportation has been also developed. Normal and threshold values of the general index of transport service quality have been determined in the paper.

Abstract

The paper provides an analysis that shows application of pump-controlled steering hydraulic drives. Dynamic model of steering hydraulic drive of open-cast BelAZ-75131 dump truck developed at BNTU and also mathematical models for circuit consisting of a metering pump and a turning cylinder and a flow amplifier and a turning cylinder with due account of compressibility and resistance of service drain line. It is noted that on the basis of the given methodology a multi-variant dynamic calculation has been carried out, drive dynamics has been analyzed at various design and component parameters of a metering pump and a flow amplifier, rational values of these parameters has been selected for design development. The paper also gives an algorithm scheme for the solution of the derived equation systems.

The paper contains an experience of structural lake decoding according to space photos. The obtained data make it possible to reveal some genetic peculiar features in location of lakes and explain their direct relation to manifestation of tectonic motions in the Earth’s crust. The paper permits to use the decoding results for various practical purposes.

Abstract

The paper proposes to use a mathematical modeling as one of the ways intended to improve quality of recuperative air heater design (RAH) without significant additional costs, connected with the change of design materials or fuel type. The described conceptual mathematical AHP optimization model of RAH consists of optimized and constant parameters, technical limitations and optimality criteria.

The paper considers a methodology for search of design and regime parameters of an air heater which is based on the methods of multi-criteria optimization. Conclusions for expediency of the given approach usage are made in the paper.

Integration function of logistics in other words vision of manufacture as a process that reveals and satisfies material requirements of consumers by means of manufacturing goods and providing services makes up logistic basics for control of various processes at an enterprise. Creation of a logistic control system by streams of material values on the basis of the process approach, balanced attitude of needs and readiness of realization of material value deliveries and also definition of service quality allows to retain values of financial assets "connected" in the stocks on a minimum level that leads in its turn to decrease in cost price of production and increase of its competitiveness.
