The numerical solution algorithm of mathematical model of metal chip heating process in continuous muffle furnace and computer calculation program that allow to determine the heat- and mass transfer parameters have been worked out. The numerical modeling has been performed for three different lubricant-coolant compositions and six different furnace heights (all together 18 variants) at the furnace productivity2000 kgof chip per hour. The main characteristics of chip heating process have been calculated. There was determined that the optimum furnace height at the point of its highest energy efficiency equals4,5 m.
On the basis of a complex theoretical and experimental investigations a principally new design of small inertial burner for electric cookers has been developed that significantly out-perform burners of conventional types.
The paper considers a continuous method for attack of high temperature water steam by carbon of solid fuel (coke). Design of water-coal gas generator and experimental stand, methodology for measurements of parameters of water-coal gasification are described in the paper.
Roller-recirculating mechanisms have found wide application in engineering. Design peculiarities of these mechanisms permit not only to transform one type of motion to another but also to control an actuator in the process of operational motions. Analysis and synthesis of transitional processes of such system are possible only on the basis of correct dynamic and mathematical model. The paper of the paper is to develop a mathematical model of roller-recirculating mechanisms transforming a rotary motion to a reciprocating one. The dynamic model of the considered mechanism is presented by the system of two generalized links of reduction, forming non-holonomic kinematics pair that admits two independent motions with two requirements of non-integrated connections. While formulating motion equations equations of non-holonomic mechanics in the form of Rauses equation have been used. The Rauses equation is a combination of Lagranzhs methods of generalized coordinates and indeterminate multipliers. As a result of it a mathematical model of the investigated object is obtained in the form of two differential equations with variable factors.
The paper considers determination of the dress roll optimal radius while producing parts having trohoidal profile with the help of grinding method that presupposes application of grinding disk. In this case disk profile has been cut-in by diamond dressing. Two methods for determination of calculation of the dress roll optimal radius have been proposed in the paper. On the basis of the satellite gear of the planetary pin reducer whose profile presents a trochoid it has been shown that the obtained results pertaining to two proposed methods conform with each other.
The paper proposes mathematical model for evaluation of energy expenditure for high-speed extrusion process of rods with butt-end cladding.
The function dependence for determination of minimum cladding force has been obtained that is necessary for formation of high-quality welding joint.

A calculation technique is offered to determine convective heat exchange from a block-crankcase of a diesel engine. This technique makes it possible to get more accurate value of a remainder term of heat balance. The convective heat exchange of D-243 diesel engine block-crankcase has been calculated. The heat release of the diesel engine block-crankcase has been analyzed depending on heat field parameters under a tractor hood.
The paper proposes a method for determination of electric power expenses for an engine. This method makes it possible to determine numerical inter-relation between the pre-determined and required ozone amount in volume relation with air at cylinder intake and electric power expenses that are used for dissociation of some oxygen molecules and generation of ozone synthesis processes in the intake flow.
The given method can be applied for engine manufacturing while designing and arranging means for air charge treatment that are used with the purpose to obtain more qualitative impact on an air charge.
HUMANITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC SCIENCES
Necessity of improvement of the system pertaining to distribution of limited resources obligatory leads to reduction of state interference in these processes. While discussing the economic design in socialism in the period of 1920–1930 the Austrian school presented significant arguments against any interference in resource distribution. Socialists’ objections (initial idea of socialism as money-free economy; possibility to determine price structure that excludes deficit and glut in the market) fail to pass theoretical and time testing. The existing opinion that the Austrians are losers in this discussion is related to their permanent additional arguments without acknowledging their own mistakes that had been made in their previous discussions and declaring that their opponents occupy positions at the second line of the defense. Last works of Austrian representatives re-consider final results of the discussion about the possibility of economic design in socialism taking into account changes in general approach to evaluation of the results of scientific discussion.
For analysis of technical and economic conditions of automotive roads and determination of reserves for improvement of financial situation and usage of capital in road facilities operational efficiency of road facilities and automotive freight-traffic services that provide significant currency receipt for Republic budget. The main ways for higher export of construction services are involvement of road facilities enterprises in this activity and introduction of highly-productive technologies in their operation. The paper demonstrates an importance of non-conventional sources of investment attractions such as leasing which is used for renovation of capital assets and invests resources in the basic capital on the return basis in the natural form. For application of new technologies and modern technique it is justifiable to establish joint road-construction enterprises with foreign sub-contractors. The paper reveals main reasons of profit increase due to operation and services of road branch.
The paper provides an estimation of ecological and economic efficiency of utilization of the electric steel-melting slag of the Belarussian Steel Works in the road construction. The obtained results give us a reason to consider that involvement of this type of industrial waste into economic turnover is an economically expedient and ecologically justified measure that will allow road-construction enterprises to reduce the cost of installation and construction works and enlarge their resource potential as well as to help the producer of wastes to release funds for innovation development and solve the problem of waste accumulation in the near future.
The paper analyzes an anti-fire industrial enterprise security system that exists in the Republic of Belarus under conditions of transition period. A complex of technical normative legal acts concerning also anti-fire security is revised now due to acceptance of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «About Technical Norms and Standardization». In contrast to the previous system of anti-fire norms and standardization that presupposed that all the requirements should be obligatory for execution the above-mentioned Law makes it possible that the obligatory requirements of anti-fire security can be found only in the technical regulations. The paper contains a conceptual model for regulation of requirements pertaining to anti-fire protection of industrial projects with due account of obligatory and recommended measures.
The paper contains analysis of the China’s membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO). The advantages and disadvantages of WTO joining and also prospects and unforeseen difficulties are given in the paper. The People’s Republic of China has already been a full-member of WTO for 6 years. The Chinese Government has mainly fulfilled all the conditions which were imposed for WTO joining. They concerned customs legislation that presupposed a considerable reduction of custom duties, an access to the service market for foreign investors, an increase of responsibility for violation of intellectual property rights. Many of these conditions have been fulfilled in advance.
The analysis of consequences of price changes for imported natural gas used at enterprises involved in energy generation has been carried out by example of one of Belarusian regional power supply systems.
The offers for maximum compensation of economic losses at the expense of price increase for the gas supplied by Russia have been proposed in the paper.
