METALLURGY AND MATERIAL SCIENCE
The paper describes development of calculation and experiment model for metal removal in electrolyte-plasma treatment of rotational surfaces. The model for metal removal based on equality of pressures acting on the straight and curved sections of the vapor-gas blanket has been suggested and experimentally substantiated in the paper. The executed investigations have made it possible to determine dependences describing relationship between the intensity of dimensional electrolyte-plasma treatment of rotational parts and technological parameters of process. An expression for calculation of metal removal rate has been determined in the paper.
Results of the work have been used for calculation of metal removal while developing technology of multi-stage cylindrical ultrasonic waveguides for blood clots destruction.
The paper contains description about obtaining two-phase boride coatings on preliminary carbonitrated steel 20. The influence of a preliminary carbonitration on phase – and structure formation and properties of the boride coatings has been investigated in the paper.
The paper proposes a methodology for evaluation of convective melt flow influence on ingot hardening at horizontal continuous casting that permits to calculate critical flow rates being sufficient for starting skin melt.
Due to investigation of ingot formation process using method of hydrothermal analogy it has become possible to reveal a picture of the convective melt movement along hardening front and determine real flow rates.
Comparison of calculative and real flow rates has permitted to detect zones of hardening front subjected to melting.
The paper shows that application of a partitioning device in the process of horizontal casting significantly decreases an influence of convective melt flows on ingot hardening.
INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING, METROLOGY AND INFORMATION MEASURING INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS
The aim of this paper is theoretical and experimental studys of a percussion and subsequent ultrasonic impacts on the indenter depth penetration into material of rigid-plastic foundation.
The obtained results allow us to estimate an influence of percussion (low-frequency) and ultrasound (high-frequency) component parameters on a charging process.
TRANSPORT
The paper describes peculiar features of diagnosis pertaining to mechanical and hydro-mechanical transmissions of transport and road-building machinery. A special importance is given to the transmission diagnosis, its elements and mechanisms of hydro-drive control because these objects are considered as the most significant ones that limit reliability and longevity of main machinery units. The paper presents technical means of diagnosis, schematics and basic methods used to assess technical state of mechanical and hydro-mechanical transmissions of transport and road-building machines for various applications.

The paper includes a substantiation of expediency of developing light-emitting diode lighting and proposes recommendations about optimization of their design.
The paper considers stepless electromechanical power train of a wheel tractor. Methodology for parameter matching of electromechanical transmission and internal combustion engine for their optimum performance as part of a power wheel tractor unit.
MATHEMATICS
MECHANICS
The paper considers a wave dynamics of a viscoelastic body (Kelvin – Voight model) which is described by a system of nonlinear differential equations in partial derivatives. Transition from a system of partial derivatives to an ordinary differential equations system for the coordinate functions is executed with the purpose to study the system behavior over time using the Bubnov – Galerkin method.
A solution for one-dimensional case is obtained, which for negligible viscosity is reduced to the Duffing equation describing behavior of a nonlinear elastic rod in time at external actions. The paper shows that if an external influence is a deterministic periodic pulse process then oscillations starting from some time under certain conditions are transited into regime of deterministic chaos. In this case the stability can be investigated by criteria of probabilistic character. The paper considers stability of a nonlinear dynamical system in chaotic regime based on the mean-square criteria.
The paper considers directions for reduction of heavy tractor impact on soil and improvement of their traction-energy indices by proper selection of propulsion system parameters. A spatial contact problem while using mathematical apparatus of continuum mechanics has been solved in order to obtain an acceptable accuracy in calculations.
Analytical investigations based on application of the known finite elements method and the proposed spatial mechanical soil characteristics have been executed in the paper. Traction-energy indices of wheels and soil consolidation under them have been determined on the basis of the calculations on soil displacement and deformation in a contact zone. Consolidation of surface subsoil which is not subjected to subsequent cultivation is significantly growing and propulsive efficiency is decreasing while increasing normal wheel loads and preserving contact pressure. Data on mechanical characteristics of real soil are required in order to ensure solution of the listed applied problems.
The paper proposes an approached method for determination of shock interaction parameters which are required for vibro-diagnostics of the technical state of spur gears. The dynamic model of tooth gearing permitting to solve a problem of determination of shock impulse type and its duration is considered in the paper. Comparative analysis of theoretical and experimental results has shown their reasonably acceptable accuracy.
MARKETING, MANAGEMENT
The paper proposes estimation of internal factors forming an enterprise potential. Economic management methods have been analyzed and an advanced methodology for selection of products which are to be launched into manufacturing has been put to an evaluation test with due account of enterprise manufacturing feasibility and using factual evidence. A mechanism for interaction of expenses involved in realization of various functions in a novelty has been offered in the paper. The paper also shows how this mechanism influences on the competitive price level.
ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT OF NATIONAL ECONOMY BY BRANCHES AND FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES
Specificity in development of construction industry of the Republic of Belarus determines character of competition on the construction market, forms a pricing, marketing and product policy of building companies. Construction represents itself as a highly developed complex where interaction of business entities is of rather complicated multilateral character.
The main direction of the Belarus building complex development is an increase in housing construction volumes that solves a problem stipulated by the program of social and economic development of our country that is an increase in rates of growth pertaining to provision of accessible and qualitative habitation to the population. Along with the development of a domestic building complex and annually increasing plans on habitation building requirements to building structures have become more enhanced and in order to meet them an enterprise must manufacture competitive building products. The paper presents results of the executed performance review and development of the Belarus building complex and reveals tendencies of its development. Application of marketing investigations with the purpose to determine optimum parameters of building elements is shown in the paper.
