Abstract

Methoodology for calculating sorption humidity in materials (calculative mass humidity ratio in a material) used for multi-layer ejttemal protective structures has been developed. The given methodology takes into account inter-relations of heat and humidity regimes of a building and a protective structure.

Abstract

In order to improve road safety on automobile roads it is necessary to take into account weather and climatic factors. These factors vary within significant limits in the Republic of Belarus. The paper justifies zoning of the Republic territory that is designed to control transport and operational state of the roads.

Abstract
The paper gives description of geo-technical measures in the form of anchored structures being applied for preservation of the Kalozhskaya Church in Grodno, the oldest Orthodox Church in Belarus and the Z.Azgour Memorial Museum. Both these historical monuments were located on landfall slopes. Peculiarities in geological conditions that favor to creation of landfall situations are given in the paper

Abstract

The paper provides results of experimental concrete research under conditions of concentrated chloride salt solutions. General principles of forecasting concrete corrosion resistance under salt physical corrosion are given in the paper. Analytical dependences for quantitative estimation of corroded concrete have been obtained.

Abstract

New methods for determination of pavement design characteristics and influence of automobiles with various types of suspenders on a pavement are given in the paper. Methodology is based on the results of measuring system which has been used on the highway P-23 Minsk-Mikashevichi while applying equipment of Spider-8 type with sensors being set in designed pavement layers and PRI-2100 FWD “HONIX”.

Abstract

The paper contains formulae for determination of reinforced soil pressure on a retaining wall when it is displaced in a foundation pit direction and in case of rigid, unmanageable wall that is in contact with soil.

Laboratory tests for determination of deformation and strength characteristics of reinforced sand soil (Е, Ез, ν, νз, φ) have been carried out. Analysis of these characteristics makes it possible to conclude the fact that an increase in a relative area (αh) of reinforced elements entails a decrease in the Poisson’s coefficients (v, Vb) and an increase in a modulus of general deformation (E).

Abstract

The paper proposes methodology for bar calculation in the case of elastic and plastic non-flat bending. It is shown how to determine an ultimate bending moment with single and two axes of symmetry in cross-section, residual stresses in case of unloading.

Abstract

The paper contains description of the results concerning computer stress calculations in respect of a crystallizing steel (20ХЮА) ingot having 300x400 mm dimensions under round- and flat-torch injector cooling. Taking an industrial continuous casting machine as an example a comparative analysis of changes in stresses along the whole ingot length for various types of injector cooling has been carried out.

Abstract

It has been experimentally proved that conditions of diamond-containing layer formation on the side faces of sawing discs significantly affect their mechanical properties and, particularly, their resistance to longitudinal bending.

Abstract

The paper presents results of the investigations in respect of nano-structured composite creation on the basis of boron and chromium using metallothermy method. Structure and phase and composition of powder media obtained from oxides with the help of metallothermy method have been studied. It is revealed that such media contain nano-stractured elements in their composition. It is shown that a thermo-diffusion treatment of products using nano-structured powder media in comparison with conventional ones increases their operational resistance by several fold.

Abstract

The paper proposes a calculation method for determination of losses in involute gearing designed with combined parameters or standard methods. Calculation examples are given in the paper. The proposed method is recommended for optimisation of gearing design with improved parameters.

Abstract

The paper considers a functionally closed multi-valued calculus with conditional formulas F = {a|b} such that F s a when b = true; F = false when a = false and F = uncertainty in all other cases. A measure function for fuzzy conditional formulas has been worked out and a mechanism of logical conclusion for formulas of the proposed calculus is given in the paper. An axiomatics is introduced and theorems on incompleteness and functional closeness are proved.

Abstract

The paper considers wear process of part surface in friction as a total result of simultaneous elementary processes of interaction, loosening and damage of surface layers. From the point of view of friction kinetics the processes leading to initiation and running of wear mechanisms are described. Analysis of tribological investigations makes it possible to reveal micro-processes in tribo-joints that cause creation and development of a certain wear mechanism. The paper also shows interrelation between interaction of friction surfaces, structural loss of strength, damageability and a wear surface mechanism.

Abstract

Analysis of automated control traffic system application in the Republic of Belarus is given in the paper. A conception is formulated for modernization of automated systems. The conception presupposes to increase a traffic efficiency and its safety. The paper provides a classification of existing automat^ control traffic systems and the systems that are in stage of development and introduction. The proposed classification permits to structurize control methods and algorithms for every system and prepare a list of technical means for systems of various level. Prospective directions of automated control traffic system development in the republic of Belarus are determined in the paper.

Abstract

The paper describes formation of terminology in the export of automotive services. On the basis of the analysis of relations between functional elements of the given sphere a model for export of automotive services in the Republic of Belarus and an integral purpose of its formation and functioning have been developed.

Abstract

Approaches to a classification of innovations that exist in economic literature are considered in the paper. On the basis of their generalization the author has developed his own variant of such classificatioiL It is proposed to standardize the classification of innovations and its coding at the national level in order to promote introduction of state-of-the-art innovations by home enterprises.

Abstract

Reliability in delivery and risks arising in the process of cargo delivery can be estimated with the help of the presented index system. The offered methods for assigning a level of planned reliability in delivery and level of reliability in delivery of some material flow permit to carry out control and regulate reliability in delivery.
