ARCHITECTURE AND CIVIL ENGINEERING
The paper considers а variant of database technologies’ application in transport communication sphere, particularly, for introduction of integrated methodology for evaluation of technical and operational conditions of bridgeworks on motor roads of general usage. Information technologies’ application helps to prevent emergency and pre-emergency conditions of bridgeworks and provides optimal investment allocation in the sphere of transport communication.
METALLURGY. МЕТАL WORKING. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The paper shows that while improving a system of settlements pertaining to plastic flow a quantitative assessment of turbulence influence may be determined with the help of self-organization criteria arising due to disturbance of a structure symmetry being in a stressed and deformed state which initiates local changes in the state and permits to bring an additional resistance developing during transition process from a laminar flow to a turbulent one. This change in resistance is determined by rheological dependences, for example, tmax = const = k, and a geometric parameter of obstruction that is an error angle of shift directions during the above-mentioned transition.
The paper contains research pertaining to laser thermohardening processes of high-strength ВЧ-50 cast iron and grey СЧ-20 cast iron with reference to a problem concerning an increase of wear resistance and operational properties of tractor «Belarus» brake mechanisms.
The paper proposes a technology for manufacturing, strengthening and restoration of rod stamp tools which is based on a method of quick hot extrusion of rod products with end face cladding.
Dependences have been obtained for determination of an optimal upsetting during a cladding process which is necessary for formation of a high-quality welded joint.
The paper provides results of investigations pertaining to wear resistance and friction characteristics of strengthening surfaces on the products made of D16T alloy in the process of sliding friction without lubricant material.
INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING. INFORMATICS
The purpose of the paper is to develop a mathematical model of sawing section blank movement with a centrifugal vibrator and investigate oscillatory movement parameters of the blank at various modes and operational conditions of a vibrodrive. The obtained results allow to determine a rational arrangement of sawing section elements with a centrifugal vibrator and also optimum modes of its operation when it is possible to ensure the best amplitude and time stable parameters of the oscillatory movement of a diamond blank to be sawed .
The paper considers a methodological approach to an analysis and estimation of information security in the information systems which is based on the analysis of vulnerabilities and an extent of their hazard. By vulnerability hazard it is meant a complexity of its operation as a part of an information system. The required and sufficient vulnerability operational conditions have been determined in the paper. The paper proposes a generalized model for attack realization which is used as a basis for construction of an attack realization model for an operation of a particular vulnerability. A criterion for estimation of information protection in the information systems which is based on the estimation of vulnerability hazard is formulated in the paper. The proposed approach allows to obtain a quantitative estimation of the information system security on the basis of the proposed schemes on realization of typical attacks for the distinguished classes of vulnerabilities.
The methodical approach is used for choosing variants to be applied for realization of protection mechanisms in the information systems as well as for estimation of information safety in the operating information systems.
The paper considers an analytical method for determination of oscillatory stability margin in the automatic control system while changing its parameter in infinite limits. The method is based on an application of the Teodorchik – Evans root locus. Examples of calculation of stability margin and graphical illustrations are given in the paper.
A method for flotation intensification with the help of streaming aerators of original design has been developed on the basis of the researches conducted at the BNTU.
Main structural parameters and technological regimes of a liquid and air injector have been determined as a result of the researches. This type of the injector permits significantly to increase pulp aeration rate.
TRANSPORT
The paper considers problems pertaining to evaluation of pavement smoothness and pavement strength on motor roads of the Republic of Belarus. An analysis of dynamics concerning development of smoothness regression processes is given in the paper. The paper describes the existing methods for evaluation of strength within the framework of modern investigations. Principles of designing non-rigid motor roads are comprehensively studied in the paper. The paper proposes a dependence between pavement strength and pavement smoothness.
Accepting a traction efficiency as a criterion of effectiveness an optimum kinematic discrepancy factor for a 4К4-model tractor with identical or different wheels and also schemes of drive axle gears are determined in the paper.
POWER ENGINEERING
The target is formulated that by 2012 it is necessary to increase usage of local types of fuel in the energy balance of Belarus up to 25 %. One of the local energy sources is arboreal fuel. Operational experience of the existing small thermal power stations has shown high cost of the obtained fuel. The paper contains an analysis of technical means for making a storage of hog fuel, their operational processes. Methods for reduction of hog fuel cost using logistics are given in the paper. He paper contains recommendations on selection of efficient technical means for making a storage of hog fuel.
HUMANITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC SCIENCES
An analysis of transportation services’ market state in the Republic is given in the paper. The paper contains a well-reasoned conclusion that there are significant reserves for higher efficiency of transportation activity. In order to use them it is necessary to exert force on searching rational ways for problem solutions including application of logistics methods.
On the basis of an analysis of scientific, reference and encyclopaedic literature, statistical information, and also main documents concerning power engineering policy a composition systemization of «own fuel-energy recourses» and «local fuel-energy recourses» categories in the Republic of Belarus is given in the paper. The paper also contains a structurization of power resources of the mentioned categories in accordance with directions of consumption of fuel-energy resources for generation of heat and electrical energy and usage of fuel-energy resources directly as a fuel.
In order to increase an objectivity of actual and forecasting estimations of efficiency in respect of power resources’ usage the paper proposes to analyze consumption of every fuel-energy resources’ type/group separately in accordance with basic directions of consumption but not as a part of boiler-oven fuel. Local fuel-energy recourses are to be considered not as end in itself, but only as a part of own fuel-energy recourses of the Republic of Belarus.
A systematization and concrete definition of some existing criteria and indices as applied to military education institutions have been made on the basis of the conducted investigations. Taking into account foreign and national experience authors make an effort to consider existing criteria groups for evaluation of quality of education and operation of higher education institutions, development of criteria and indices for more thorough and objective quantitative and qualitative evaluation of higher military educational process.
The most important problem of the society to be transformed is an issue concerning formation of humanitarian world outlook in the consciousness of people. Common to all mankind values, synthesis of valuable content of really existing cultures which are interacting on the basis of civilized dialogue serve as its significant fundamental basis. Solution of this problem takes on a special significance for youth. The most crucial role in this complicated process belongs to the system of higher education which is the most important element in the public mechanism directed on realization of new world outlook paradigm.
Modern professional and private requirements to a manager are given in the paper. The paper describes a distinctive portrait of a manager with the required qualities and properties. A number of peculiar features pertaining to this modern profession are considered in the paper, namely: specific manager’s assignments, factors of his success, psychological trends, knowledge of typical mistakes in the activity of insufficiently qualified manager and main management laws.
The paper considers systems of state support of small business in the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and Japan. Especially this sector of economy is more vulnerable and dependable on market changes. Small enterprises have limited productive capacities, can not afford high volume expenses for research, design and test works, posses low volume creditworthiness.
Approaches to realization of state support of small and middle-sized business in the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and Japan are similar in a great number of aspects but there are some principal differences. Every country which is mentioned above has various organizational and legislative forms of state support of small business and protection of its interests.
The given paper analyzes the existing sources and types of support in respect of small and middle-sized business in the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and Japan, contains proposals for improvement of organization of state support of small business in the Republic of Belarus and justifies the necessity of their introduction.
The paper considers a state of a transport complex of the Republic of Belarus from the point of view of logistics service safety. The general principles for development of a transport safety system are investigated in the paper. The paper has analyzed the Republic transport complex state. A solution of the problem pertaining to transport logistics service with the usage of contractual logistics.
