Abstract

The paper shows that it is rather difficult to ensure preservation of geodetic stations of layout base on modern sites and realize a project pertaining to execution of geodetic works (PEGW) which is based on application of standard axis transfer methods for erection level especially it concerns when construction of high-rise buildings takes place. Taking into account operational possibilities of modern geodetic devices in the PEGW it is necessary to make provisions for more rational free schemes of geodetic layout base and apply corresponding alternative axis transfer methods for erection level, for example: a method of horizontal angles (an angular intersection); a range finder method (a linear intersection); angular-range-finder method; a satellite method. The satellite method ensures a radical scheme simplification of geodetic layout site base, the required preservation of support stations and efficient layout axis transfer technologies for erection levels.

Abstract

The paper presents a calculation of technological surfacing modes using an electro-contact flashing method. In order to make calculations a mathematical model of surfacing process based on an analysis of heat exchange between a part heated by the electro-contact method and a metallic powder flashed by it has been developed in the paper. The paper contains an optimization of the technological modes that allows to improve quality of the obtained coating.

The paper contains results of the analysis pertaining to structures and regularities in shape-formation of electro-impulse polishing units that take into account a design, psychophysiology, ergonomics, functional painting and psycho-physiological perception of colour gamut.

Design description of the electro-impulse polishing unit of «EPOL-6N»-series is given in the paper. The paper provides main technical characteristics of the unit and considers an application field of the given group of technological equipment.

Abstract

The paper contains results pertaining to investigation of mechanical properties of P18 (18 % W) high-speed steel subjected to strengthening thermo-cycling heat treatment (STCHT). Optimization of temperature–time parameters of the STCHT process has been executed for impact strength, bending strength and surface hardness of the Р18 steel after thermo-cycling treatment. STCHT – process parameters – properties diagrams have been plotted using mathematical models. Treatment with optimum regime permits to increase wear resistance of a cutting tool made of Р18 steel by 1.5 to 6.3-fold in comparison with a conventionally treated tool.

Abstract

The paper considers a problem on optimum heating control of a blank in the form of prism under complicated conditions of heat-transfer in accordance with criteria of gas consumption minimization, decarburized layer and scaling. Numerical algorithm of the problem solution and examples are given in the paper. A new technology of the flame furnace operation has been developed in the paper.

Abstract

The paper presents results of a development and an industrial implementation of a new method for measuring liquid (water) amount passing through measuring devices as a continuous flow by means of rotating blades. An algorithm of the device operation which serves as a basis for the method can be also used for designing devices for metering and control of gas consumption.

The given method has its practical application in the electronic water meter developed at the «Elektronika» Plant of the RPC Integral.

Abstract

The paper analyses existing methods for determination of elastic material properties and reveals perspectives for usage of resonant methods which make it possible to execute a non-contact and non-destructive control. As an example of a resonant method application a problem on determination of elastic material properties by own vibration frequency of a specimen in the form of a round plate is considered in the paper. Solution efficiency of the investigated problem using a gradient-search method is given in the paper.

Abstract

The paper provides analysis results pertaining to the influence of decorative metallic building coatings on directional patterns of antennas located on the buildings and investigation results of the electromagnetic environment nearby such buildings. The results testify to an increase of danger situation in spurious electromagnetic couplings between antennas located in the vicinity of the buildings and an advent of passive inter-modulation radio interference while constructing the buildings close to powerful radiation sources.

Abstract

The paper analyzes main indices (indicators of realization) of the State program on innovative development of the Republic of Belarus (SPIDRB), contains and justifies a hierarchical structure of data processing and display, finalizes a list of the SPIDRB participants and executors. Major functions of the units pertaining to automation of an automated SPIDRB monitoring system are determined in the paper. In order to accumulate, process and furnish information a system of documentary databases on the basis of IBM Lotus Domino/Notes 8, relational databases of IBM DB2 and MS SQL Server 2005 is used in the given paper. Interaction with data suppliers is ensured by means of e-mail. The proposed scientific principles and software allow to automate a process of SPIDRB monitoring and to raise a decision-making efficiency in the field of innovative economic development of our country.

The paper considers development of non-hysteresis position sensor for a planar direct drive in a linear step-by-step motor (LSM) on the basis of the Hall-effect converters. A magnetic equivalent circuit, a transformation mathematical model for the LSM inductor position relatively to a stator are developed in the paper.
