CIVIL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE
The paper contains a solution of the contact problem for a elastic plate in a slot of infinite plane using a method of orthogonal polynomials. A peculiar feature is exactly developed in contact stresses at plate edges. The given results can be applied for calculation deep anchor plates and embedded inserts of reinforced structures.
METALLURGY. МЕТАL WORKING. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The paper presents investigation results on machining of surfaces having a coating formed by electromagnetic facing with surface plastic deformation and using abrasive and diamond wheels having a porous metal binder with orientated drains.
The paper presents an oxide ceramic material with addition of solid lubricant which has good technological characteristics and which is able to form high wear-resistant plasma coatings with low friction coefficient.
The paper describes a technology of selective laser sintering of porous materials with complicated surface geometry of spherical titanium powders. A mechanism of contact formation between powder particles at SLS and its influence on the geometrical form of the obtained received materials have been investigated in the paper.
INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING. INFORMATICS
The paper considers a possibility to apply a transfer matrix method for investigation of flexible ultrasonic waveguides. Usage of the transfer matrix method has made it possible significantly to simplify methodology for designing and calculation of flexible waveguides which was previously developed by the authors. Correctness and efficiency of the suggested method is proved by comparing numerical results with the previously developed models and results of finite-element modelling.
The paper formulates and solves an actual problem pertaining to vehicular steering efficiency in traffic direction motion channel. Models of operator-drivers with low, medium and high rates in motivational perception of road conditions and also a model for controlling a traffic direction motion have been taken into ccount in the paper. Modeling has been done by using MATLAB.
The paper considers a problem concerning improvement of a methodology for justification of data content while preparing management solutions in the cases when data expenses are relatively high. Such notion as «data value» is applied for the solution of a problem within the framework of statistical parameter evaluation theory. The problem is solved from general positions and due to this such notion as «solution preparation» is applied in the paper.
TRANSPORT
The paper presents a method for selection of main fuel supply parameters at the moment of diesel engine starting duty which are equipped with accumulator fuel supply systems having electronic control. Distinctive criteria for selection of some fuel supply parameters have been determined in accordance with the proposed sequence. The investigated 6ЧН 11,5/14 diesel engine has been taken as an example for calculation and selection of fuel supply parameters in accordance with the proposed method.
The paper presents an analysis of the existing situation pertaining to road accidents in theRepublicofBelarus. A critical estimation of the indicators used in the statistical analysis is given and a new relative indicator of the general road accident involvement risk is offered in the paper. The paper considers data of insurance statistics which covers different damage aspects due to road accidents in the field of transport insurance as an alternative source.
The paper provides basic statistical data on insurance statistics in theRepublicofBelarus. A private insurance company is taken as an example for an analysis of insurance payments. Conclusions have been made in respect of road traffic quality evaluation and theMinsk streetareas which are mostly subjected to road accidents are revealed in the paper. The paper determines practical scientific and scientifically-methodical targets for improvement of road safety.
ЕСOLOGY. RESOURCE SAVING
A methodology for application of hyperbolic functions with the purpose to make estimation of the taken decisions in ecological management is presented in the paper. The paper provides examples of an analysis concerning the possibility to realize forecast targets in accordance with the given terms.
NATURAL AND ACCURATE SCIENCES
The paper considers an estimation of a complicated mechanical system condition in dynamics with due account of material degradation and accumulation of micro-damages. An element of continuous medium has been simulated and described with the help of a discrete element. The paper contains description of a model for determination of mechanical system longevity in accordance with number of cycles and operational period.
It has been ascertained that while having low reaction capacity with cellulose destruction it is characterized by high viscose formation that has a specific significance for package printing.
The paper presents a mathematical model of stable production system for transport machinery. A detailed functional structure with various functions and sub-functions where some functions are considered as insignificant from the point of view of production transformations has been built in accordance with the construction diagram. The production structure with the fixed constructive characteristics has been obtained in the paper. Output actions in such production system are assigned by specific transformation technologies where an action method is determined by place, character of production process actions and conditions of its accomplishment. Number of constructive characteristics are determined by functional structure and depend on an abstraction rate, revealing ratio of complete description of the production system.
HUMANITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC SCIENCES
The paper investigates a bionics phenomena and those possibilities which are opened in the interdisciplinary field with the purpose to solve problems of co-evolutional methodology.
The paper considers a non-conventional approach of strategic control which is executed on the basis of integration of incompatible business platforms within the framework of the unified management system. The system is constructed while superimposing investment prospect tool on the diagram of the running enterprise cost control on the basis of the given standards. Their determination reveals advantages of the proposed approach within the context of its influence on the enterprise management with due account of an impact of negative factors on cost losses. Their investigation within diagnostics of management system makes it possible to increase a business reliability. The results of the investigations are tested in the process of cost evaluation of a multi-profile transport enterprise.
ENGINEERING EDUCATION
The paper shows how applying an analogy method it is possible to describe complicated hierarchic educational systems while using such robotics notions as «synergy», «flexibility», «service» and «mobility» which are well developed and filled with mathematical content. It has been shown that the indicated notions positively supplement terminology and main principles of organizational designing, system analysis and an idea of staff management while using mathematical knowledge-activity personnel models in order to form and manage innovation projects.
ARCHITECTURE AND CIVIL ENGINEERING
Crack formation in сement concrete is due to structural and adhesive processes occurring under influence of temperature, water and corrosion factors. The paper proposes methods for protection of сement concrete plates by an organic material or a cement concrete protection layer which is separated from a basic plate by an elastic membrane.
