Abstract

Structure formation in laminated coatings (Si + C) and a cobalt alloy ЭП 131 on magnetronically sprayed diamond crystals with subsequent heating in a dilatometer up to 1400 °C is accompanied by formation of amorphous and crystal SiC-layer  within temperature interval of 650–850 °С  and a layer of cobalt ЭП-alloy. Adding of KCR06-hard alloy granules in furnace charge leads to sintering of  tungsten carbide inside of the granules and with diamond crystals through SiC coating and alloyed cobalt binder at temperature of 1400 °C.

Abstract

The paper describes technological machinery schemes for simultaneous double-sided processing of components with high-precision spherical surfaces characterized by different sense of curvature. The paper also presents a developed mathematical modeling of stock allowance removal regularities during spherical surface formation by a free fitting-in method. The methodology of numerical computer-aided investigations has been developed for determination of the most favorable machine settings at the stage of technological process creation for simultaneous double-sided grinding and polishing of lenses. The paper describes a methodology for evaluation of lense stress state that allows to determine optimal plane position of their clamping to the side surface.

Abstract

Results of the investigation on main characteristics library of various integral resistors (IR)  within the following temperature and current ranges, respectively (–70)–(+150) °С and 10–6–10–2 А  are presented in the paper. The paper contains a temperature-dependent IR-model. Its analysis permits to explain experimental dependences and develop concrete recommendations on IR calculation and application in IS.

Abstract

Structural and thermophysical properties of thermally treated concrete have been studied in the paper. The paper demonstrates regularities of changes in structural and thermophysical properties of concrete during heat treatment process. It is established that stabilization of coefficient values for heat- and temperature conductivity of concrete corresponds to completion of the process pertaining to intensive formation of the material pore structure and indicates the possibility of transition from the stage of isothermal extraction to the stage of temperature decrease. The obtained results are confirmed by studies of strength growth kinetics of concrete samples.

Abstract

The paper proposes a methodology for determination of fluid and air contour parameters of cooling systems in mobile vehicle engines that permits to calculate a cooling system, to analyze influence of heat carrier expendable parameters on a temperature mode, surfaces of radiator cooling, and also temperature of heat-carriers and environment.

Abstract

The paper considers problems pertaining to operational diagnosis of transport facility operator (driver), describes a basis algorithm of physiological operator’s characteristics with the purpose to control his activity during non-standard situations. Such approach is presented as one of the possible ways to improve operational efficiency of agricultural machinery during production and operations.

Abstract

The existing methods for traffic flow control at a main road have a number of disadvantages. Flow control optimization with the help of adaptive regulation presupposes setting-up of transport detectors. The paper proposes an adaptive method on the basis on a phase adjustment of traffic lights on main street.

CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The paper reveals that while using magnesium bisulfite pulp cooking of raw material which serves for obtaining a desired product with its further application for packing making it is rather important that the raw material should contain hemicellulose and lignin. In the case when the content of hemicellulose  and lignin is rather high in the desired product its qualitative (physical and mechanical) indices are deteriorating that negatively affects the qualitative values of the obtained packing.

Abstract

Influence of acetate ion on stability of alumina-zirconium tanning to alkalization has been investigated in the paper. The investigation results have shown that at the ratio of Al3+:Zr4+:CH3COO = 1:1:1 it  is  possible  to  prepare  a  solution  of  masking   alumina-zirconium  tanning  (АЦД-М)   with  high stability and low consumption of aluminum sulfate. The paper reveals that masking of alumina-zirconium tanning by natrium acetate allows to increase stability to alkalization and improve tanning properties. It has been established that for a stable increase of fatty matter viscosity and improvement of  leather water-resistant properties it is necessary to use water-insoluble aluminum and zirconium soaps of carboxylic acids.

Abstract

The paper considers a possibility to use secondary polyurethane obtained by  thermal depolymerization of wastes on the basis of cross-linked polyurethane (polyurethane adduct) and isocyanate. An effect of density dependence of the obtained polyurethane samples on nature and quantity of solvent has been revealed and it is significantly observed while using low-boiling solvents. The influence of adduct/solidification agent ratio on mechanical hardness of the obtained samples has been studied in the paper. The paper shows that the most optimal ratio is within the following limits – from 7/1 to 10/1. Plasticizing effect of polyurethane adduct on bitumen materials has been also found in the paper.

A conclusion has been made that there is a possibility of practical usage of composites in building and road-building materials.

Abstract

The paper considers two approaches for an evaluation of a current society status considered which can be represented by an enterprise, a region, a social group etc. The evaluation has been carried out on the basis of questionnaire. The questionnaire contains a list of factors, and a respondent makes marks which reflect his/her personal opinion pertaining to rate influence of every factor on the current situation. While applying methods of a fuzzy-set theory the respondent’s opinion (questionnaire content) has been transformed in numerical value Z which serves for determination of the current status rate (an investigated problem rating) in the society.

The first approach. All the factors are equivalent and N respondents are involved in questionnaire campaign. (The respondents can be represented by enterprise personnel, inhabitants of a territory, representatives of social group etc.)

The second approach. The factors are inadequate, the questionnaire data is entered by an expert (one respondent).
