Abstract

The paper considers a structural flowchart of a typical digital servo system and its operational principle. A method for determination of the unbalanced load effect on the accuracy of the system operation is described in the paper. The paper proposes a method for compensation of the  unbalanced load influence on the system operation. The experimental verification of the unbalanced load effect on the operational accuracy of the servo system and compensation of these influences have been executed in the paper.

Abstract

Powder media for boriding of high saturating capacity have been developed in the paper. Treatment in the powder media has made it possible to obtain diffusion coatings on steel surface which are characterized by higher set  of operational characteristics in comparison with coatings obtained in conventional boriding mixtures. Peculiar features pertaining to formation of the developed coatings have been investigated in the paper.

Abstract

An expression for determination of contact area of tool and part plane surfaces while being processed according to free lapping method. Calculation of regularities in changes of contact area of lapping segments has been carried out in the case when the upper segment goes over the edge of the bottom one. It is shown that the change of tool diameter can be used as one of the effective parameters while controlling the shaping process of high-precision optical details with plane surfaces (или: (It is shown that change of diameter of the tool can be used as one of the effective parameters in controlling formation process of high-precision optical parts with plane surfaces. It has been substantiated that it is necessary to use bonded tools of minimum thickness in order to reduce overturning moment while abrasive slurry is to be spread on the central area of a part.

Abstract

The concrete samples originate from fracture mechanics tests performed on February 19, 2012, at the Department of Geo-Engineering and Building Materials of the Izhevsk State Technical University.

After the fracture mechanics tests three types of small specimens (marked with CNT, C3 and control sample) have been prepared and tested by means of Nano-Indentation (NI) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), at the Institute for Mechanics of Materials and Structures and Institute of Automation and Control, respectively, of Vienna University of Technology.

Abstract
Hydrologic conditions that cause the Goryn river floods have been described in the paper. The paper considers engineering solutions pertaining to prevention of catastrophic floodings by bifurcation of maximum river flow while constructing a watershed dike and creating a non-flood polder in the flood plain. The formulas have been developed for calculation of dike slope fixing by dumped riprap when the slopes are subjected to stream impact. The paper provides an analysis of existing dependences for calculation of riprap material size in order to protect slopes against waves. The possible ways for lower cost of fixation while using  waste tyres and also while constructing  small wave-suppressing dikes reinforced by dumped riprap and shrub vegetation along the main dike have been revealed in the paper.

Abstract

The paper describes development of the technology for obtaining thermal plasticizer from the Kansk-Achinsk brown coal while using a method of thermal destruction  in а hydrocarbon medium: oil selective purification extract or used motor oil mixtures. Coal thermal plasticizers have been used for production of unsupported roll-fed water proofing materials. The paper shows an economic effect of which can be ensured while obtaining a thermal plasticizer from brown coal.

Abstract
The paper presents results pertaining to creation of national mobile monitoring system for  suspension hydraulic drives  in respect to high-power “Belarus” tractors. A monitoring system schematic diagram has been developed and channels for data accumulation and processing have been determined in the paper. The paper reveals dependences for determination of residual resources of the hydraulic drive. A tractor “Belarus 3022” has been used for test of the proposed system and it has  proved its operating capability.

Abstract

A new algorithm for detection of a maximum flow in multi-terminal network. The algorithm is based on its matrices description and execution of ternary operations in respect of matrix elements pertaining to arc capacity.  Therefore the algorithm does not require graphic network presentation. For this reason the programming realization of the developed algorithm is rather simple and it can be applied while solving a large scope of problems when mathematical models can be formulated in terms of a graph theory.

Abstract
The paper considers the controllability problem of essentially various-speed singularly perturbed dynamic system consisting of three subsystems of different dimensions, containing a small parameter to a variable degree as a multiplier for derivatives.   A method for studying complete and relative
controllability of such systems has been proposed in the paper. The method is based on investigation of a controllability matrix rank. The matrix is composed of solution components of algebraic recurrent equations, which are drawn directly in accordance with the studied system of differential equations. The obtained effective algebraic conditions of controllability, expressed through parameters of the investigated system are obtained are illustrated by the case of essentially various-speed singularly perturbed dynamic system of fifth order with rational powers of small parameter.
