FRICTIONAL WORK AS INTEGRAL INDICATOR OF WEAR-OUT RATE FOR FRICTION DISCS OF GEAR BOX HYDROCOMPRESSING CLUTCHES

Abstract

A new methodology for an on-board diagnosis of wear-out rate for friction discs of gear box hydrocompressing clutches has been developed in the paper. The methodology is based on physical process that uses friction work as an integral indicator.
