Application of Diamond Reamers for Machining Precision Holes in Engineering Industry

Abstract

The problems concerning the improvement of machining accuracy and higher productivity while manufacturing cylinder mirrors of motorcycle engines have been investigated. The paper shows that while using diamond reaming accuracy, roughness and productivity of engine cylinder machining significantly exceed similar parameters of conventional methods.
