Higher Seismic Safety against Explosive Collapse of Large-Size Structures under Constraint Conditions of the Construction

Abstract

The paper gives the results of the investigations concerning seismic effect in the case of explosive collapse of large-size structures. Mathematical model of interaction of collapsed buildings and soil in the area of collision has been determined. Regular features of seismic effect caused by elastic collision of massive rigid body with the surface of weak-deformed media have been investigated. Method of determination of dangerous seismic distances in the case of explosive collapse of large-size structures of industrial buildings under constraint conditions of the construction has been developed.
