INFLUENCE OF LASER PROCESSING ON STRUCTURAL – PHASE COMPOSITION OF SPRAYED Ni–Cr–B–Si COATINGS

Abstract

Laser thermal treatment of Ni–Cr–В–Si coatings favours a formation of ultra-disperse states of fused layers. Fusion modes determine a crystallization mechanism and in the interval of q = = 10–100 kVt/sm2 and V = 1–3 mm/sec they permit to obtain various types of a coating micro- structure, that is from a dendrite coating to a pure eutectic one.
