Анализируется роль инновационной деятельности в формировании экономического потенциала Республики Беларусь и вклад Белорусского национального технического университета в решение этих задач путем совершенствования образовательной, научной и производственной деятельности.
Отмечается, что проблема качества образования является определяющей в деятельности университета, и выделены приоритетные направления деятельности, реализация которых обеспечивает необходимый уровень подготовки специалистов.
The paper analyses the role of innovation activity in building up the economic potential of the Republic of Belarus and contribution of the Belarussian National Technical University to the solution of these problems by means of improvement of educational, scientific and industrial activity.
The paper reveals that the problem of educational quality is the most important one in the activity of the University. The paper determines directions of first-priority in the activity of the University. The implementation of these directions ensures the required level of specialist training.
