Приведены характерные для Нигерии грунтовые условия, описаны основные строительные свойства наиболее широко представленных на территории страны грунтов, механизмы их образования, дана оценка грунтов как оснований зданий и сооружений, описаны их физико-механические характеристики.

The paper presents typical Nigerian soil conditions, the basic engineering properties of the most widely spread soil groups in the country, the mechanisms of their formation, evaluation of these soils as foundation bases for buildings and other structures, depending on their physico-mechanical characteristics.
