Рассматривается развитие художественной составляющей промышленной архитектуры на разных временных этапах ее существования. Для этого исследуются три аспекта: какие стили использовались; что инициировало разработку художественных вопросов и в какой степени профессиональные архитекторы участвовали в промышленном проектировании.

Проведенный анализ мировой практики промышленного строительства позволяет выявить подходы, мотивации и средства решения художественных вопросов, характерные особенности каждого исторического периода.

The paper considers the historic development of the artistic aspect in industrial architecture. For this purpose, three questions are investigated, namely: which artistic styles have been used, what has initiated development of artistic aspects and how professional architects have taken part in industrial design.

The analysis of industrial construction practice in the world allows to reveal approaches, motivations and means for the realization of artistic aspect and specific peculiarities of every historical periods.
